Cathryn Meegan is an assistant lecturer in the Department of Accounting at Florida State University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Business.
Meegan spent 10 years in public and private accounting before returning to the academic environment. Her love of teaching led her to earn her doctorate degree at FSU, and she excited to return to FSU after teaching at Jacksonville University for six years. She is a life-long learner, earning several degrees and taking webinars, trainings and classes in various subjects to increase her skill set and explore various interests.
Cathryn enjoys living in Scotland, especially in Shetland, during the summer. She spends her time hiking, going on boat tours, reading, attending festivals and meeting up with friends. While in Tallahassee, she can generally be found hiking, spending time with her sister and niece, attending book clubs and enjoying live music at venues in the region.
